Aims/Description: The module aims to assist students in developing a basic skill in the preparation and drafting of a range of documents and in the use of precedents, in setting out documents and in drafting clauses.

Teaching Methods: The module forms an intergral part of others modules on LAWT103 and is taught in context.
Assessment: The module is assessed by an unseen examination of 4 hours duration. Students are asked to make appropriate amendments to a document and also to write a short note of advice to a client. The combination of tasks enables the achievement of the aims
