HSS381 Portuguese Advanced: Language and Culture II

Cannot be taken with: MLT133C, MLT133H, MLT133I, MLT133M

Aims/Description: HSS380 and HSS381 consolidate and develop the basic language skills acquired in HSS280-281. Materials relevant to contemporary Lusophone culture and society will also be studied. The course gives special importance to direct and indirect translation as a cognitive competence to enhance their metalinguistic reflection on both languages and structures
