Aims/Description: This module provides the clinical experience to develop key skills to a competent level, for 'non-complex' implant surgery, placement and restoration, as defined by the FGDP training standards in implantology. Students will also be exposed to elements of 'complex' implantology throughout the course of the module, although will not be expected to achieve compentence as part of the course assessment. Some aspects of complex implantology, particularly surgery, will be experienced in an observational role.
