Pre-requisites: Must be a qualified health care practitioner who is working within the context of neonatal care.

Aims/Description: This unit is designed to provide neonatal practitioners who are qualified in neonatal practice with the opportunity to undertake further study towards becoming an advanced neonatal nurse practitioner. Having been equipped with the underpinning neonatal biosciences from completion of the first unit, completion of this unit will enable the practitioner to integrate this new understanding with their developing skills and knowledge of health assessment and using diagnostic reasoning.
