Aims/Description: This module will focus on the principles and practice of caring for the person presenting with acute unstable CHD; developing the knowledge and skills required for assessment and management of promoting evidence based decision making. The module could be accessed by those working in CCU, A and E, medical wards and Cardiology settings. Additionally it could be of value to paramedics and to those working in primary care who wish to develop a comprehensive insight into the management of these conditions. This module will contribute to the educational requirements of the National Framework for CHD standards 5, 6 and 7.
