Aims/Description: This unit is the final unit undertaken prior to application of a post for a nurse associate upon successful completion. This practice focused unit will consolidate learning from both a care delivery and professional development perspective in their chosen area of practice. It will enable students to seek out, analyse and implement effective skills in the context of multi-disciplinary working practice. The focus will be on teamwork and enabling others to learn

Restrictions on availability: All students registered on NURU who have completed all the requirements of SNM146/7 and SNM2238/9 and whose manager, after discussion with the trainee and the UoS, feels the trainee is ready to undertake the assessment.

Teaching Methods: This is an endpoint assessment that draws together the learning in all other units it has no specific L&T methods attached to it
Assessment: Observation of practice 60 minutes with 10 minutes for Q and A if required
