Aims/Description: This course will provide the students with the skills required to process image data. The course will focus on three distinct areas of image processing. Initially it will deal with the basics required to understand the data and classic transformations used to enhance image data, the students will be made aware of the caution that must be taken when transforming image data. The second stage of the course will develop the student ability to code these transformations for the automation of image processing. Finally, the students will use this knowledge to interact with commonly used software for image analysis.
