Aims/Description: This module will be available for students on MEDT132 MSc Genomic Medicine to take alongside the Literature Review (MED678) and Research and Professional Skills (MED681). Students will select a project title from a list of proposed research areas relevant to Genomic Medicine. They will research the scientific literature and with assistance from an academic supervisor, formulate a hypothesis and derive specific aims that would address the research question. They will then write a proposal describing the methods and analysis they would perform and the expected results of the study.
