Aims/Description: The module aims at providing the theoretical and practical knowledge that students need to use computational resources existing in genomics research and develop personalized interventions for patients. Particular focus will be placed on quantitative analysis of genomic data in genetic diagnostics and drug development, whereby these topics will be integrated in a problem-based curriculum. Students will gain real-world experience by learning from both the public and private sectors enabling them to have a wide range of career prospects after completing the module. The delivery will be in a ┐flipped-teaching┐ structure with both online lectures and face-to-face practicals.
