10 Credits ACADEMIC YEAR



Aims/Description: This module explores risk and crisis management as well as recovery and damage limitation, within the context of manufacturing organisations. A core focus of the module is the manner in which organisations become dysfunctional. The module also provides a critique of some of the dominant theories within management, and in particular, will examine the role of latent managerial error, notions of incubation and error cost within decision-making and the development of organisational neuroses.
