The Research Project Portfolio will comprise writing a literature review and an initial project plan. These are aimed at ensuring the student has a sound base from which to build in respect of their individual research project in conjunction with their sponsoring company.

||The literature review will be between 5,000 and 10,000 words and will be written in a critical
manner in relation to the research topic.
The research project plan will list the aims of objectives of the project (1500 words maximum),
the main activities to be undertaken with a Gantt chart.
Assessment will be undertaken by the supervisor and one appointed moderator.
