Co-requisites: MAS400

Aims/Description: This module forms the final part of the SoMaS project provision at Level 4 and involves the completion, under the guidance of a research active supervisor, of a substantial project on an advanced topic in Mathematics and Statistics. This 40-credit version is intended particularly for students who have a strong desire to continue research after their undergraduate degree and who would like to experience enhanced research into a more specialised topic than MAS406 permits. Permission to take this larger project module is likely to be granted only in exceptional circumstances.
