15 Credits AUTUMN

Aims/Description: This module introduces students to the legal and practical issues associated with international business transactions. Both points of law underpinning such contracts, together with the practical legal commercial skills, required are covered in depth. In doing so students can evaluate how practice deals with some of the academic themes and issues. Transferable skills will be embedded across the module such as commercial awareness, information gathering and synthesis, the development of individual resourcefulness, analytical thinking, the ability to identify problems and creatively resolve them and the ability to make decisions in challenging situations.
