Aims/Description: This module does not assume any knowledge of the main data analysis computer package used by criminologists to examine survey data (Statistical Package for Social Scientists - SPSS). Using progressively more complex data-bases based on pre-existing surveys, students are taught how to enter, clean and check data, and all commands necessary to analyse survey data (frequency, cross-tabulation, correlation, select, count, etc.).

Restrictions on availability: Only available to law students (and BA Soc/Pol). Cannot take LAW225.
