Aims/Description: The course aims to provide a broad understanding of the principles and practice of human resource management in the context of library and information services (LIS). It introduces students to a range of key skills and techniques needed to manage people in organisations, including recruitment interviewing, performance appraisal, coaching, team working and conflict management.
