15 Credits AUTUMN

Pre-requisites: Basic numeracy to GCSE Mathematics. Computer Literacy (familiarity with Windows operating system)

Aims/Description: The module will cover fundamental statistical concepts, and both simple statistical methods and the more widely used advanced methods of multiple linear and logisitic regression. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and analyse a study using statistical software to answer specific research questions; to understand and critically appraise the literature; present research findings in a suitable fashion
