Aims/Description: In this module, students develop a portfolio of professional skills tailored to their own needs and the requirements of future career paths. They learn to apply academic training to real-world situations through scenario-based and problem-solving learning and workshop activities. The module emphasises employment-related skills and familiarisation with approaches and techniques used in the workplace. The module is made up of core elements and optional units, the latter ranging from designing and running consultative workshops to entrepreneurial skills to voluntary work. Students also develop and produce a Personal & Professional Development Plan during the year, and reflect on their professional skills development through an assessed reflective essay.
