20 Credits ACADEMIC YEAR



Aims/Description: This module exposes students to key research methods and geospatial technologies used across the discipline of geography. Lectures will introduce the importance of each method for geographical research and beyond, and workshops will provide hands-on, skills-based experience of data collection, analysis and presentation. Typical methods include observational skills, in-depth interviewing, GIS, remote sensing, questionnaire design, and statistics.
