5 Credits ACADEMIC YEAR



Aims/Description: This unit builds on the personal and professional skills training delivered in years 1-3 as students prepare for their future careers. Training covers areas such as CV writing, applications, career planning and interview skills. Students will be encouraged to take a reflective approach to their learning and to identify their own additional training needs. Students will record their reflections and development in their PDP log supported by tutorials.

Assessment: Students will be assessed on a pass/fail basis according to the following criteria: Demonstration of career objectives and an understanding of how they might be achieved. Learning outcome 1. Effective communication of skills and experience through the CV, application and interview. Learning outcomes 2 and 3.
