Pre-requisites: English language level - IELTS 7.0 (min 7.0 in any component), CAE (A), TOEFL IBT 113, CEF C2+ or equivalent.

ELT5612

Students should have successfully completed ELT5612 or new incoming students will take a placement test to ensure correct language level.


Aims/Description: English as a Foreign Language Proficiency 2 is a general English language and skills module at high C2 level as described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR), focusing on improving students' abilities in the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and their knowledge and capabilities in the language (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation). At the same time, it aims to increase their knowledge of British culture and society. The course is delivered through two weekly classes of two hours each along with individual study time.

Restrictions on availability: Available to Erasmus and Study Abroad exchange students only.
