Aims/Description: This unit aims to provide experienced TESOL teachers with an opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the training and development of English language teachers. Participants will be encouraged to draw on their own training and development experiences, experiment with new approaches and techniques in the training room and to apply a range of existing and developing teacher education theory and methods in training session design. The module has been aligned to the University of Cambridge English Trainer Framework and is aimed to allow the first transition from `teacher to trainer'.
