Aims/Description: This unit consolidates existing clinical skills and introduces the students to more advanced and specialist clinical work so they continue to develop a holistic approach to patient care. They will develop their understanding of disease processes and the concepts of evidence based dentistry which informs their diagnostic and management skills and enables them to formulate appropriate treatment strategies for patients at an individual and population level. As such they develop the skills to enable them to practice as competent caring dental health care professionals.

Restrictions on availability: Only available to DENU06 students.
