Pre-requisites: GEE103

Aims/Description: This module covers the design of processes, including process safety and economics. The selection and design of process equipment found on a chemical plant as well as materials considerations are covered as well as an introduction to process analysis software. The unit also provides an introduction to process safety and loss prevention on industrial processes and will enable students, with further experience in industry, to carry out activities involved in the safety review of proposed and existing plants.
