Aims/Description: This individual research-led project forms the technical foundation of the MSc, MBA Double Award dissertation. Whilst the nature and focus of projects will vary according to student and the academic discipline of their MSc, they share common features. Primarily, students undertake substantial and detailed project work that develops and/or applies engineering knowledge. Students will demonstrate critical skills and topic-related knowledge to a high level, and projects are normally expected to generate unique findings. Students will be exposed to the latest methods and ideas in their project area, are able to use Departmental or in-company facilities, will be regularly supervised by a member of staff from their Department with appropriate supervisory support from the Management School.
