Aims/Description: This module allows students to propose strategies for the completion of a 10,000 word dissertation, (ACE3061C),demonstrating the ability to produce an extended piece of writing arising from independent research. The student may decide to focus on an area of study within a particular discipline or they may choose to take an inter-disciplinary approach. For this module (Dissertation 1) the student will produce a proposal for the dissertation, including a clear rationale for the project and its viability, and a breakdown of the proposed content of the final dissertation.
